Measuring, Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification Microcredential

In the coming months, K-State will offer an MMRV (measuring, monitoring, reporting, and verification) microcredential.  This microcredential will provide learners with the knowledge and practical skills needed to design, implement, and evaluate Measuring, Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification systems, particularly in the context of agriculture, sustainability, and climate initiatives. The program combines foundational concepts with applied training in data collection, analysis, and communication of results. Learners would gain experience with current tools, standards, and frameworks that guide MMRV practices globally.

The microcredential is designed for professionals, students, and organizations seeking to strengthen their capacity in evidence-based decision-making, compliance with environmental standards, and participation in emerging markets such as carbon credits. Through hands-on projects and assessments, participants will demonstrate competencies that are directly applicable in industry and research settings.
